For me, blogging and being transparent go hand-in-hand. I believe that by being open and sharing our stories we can be blessings to one another. I have shared deeply personal stories on the blog in hopes that it would help someone to move past whatever may be holding them back from healing and living a happy life. - My birthday is in May.
- Both of my children and I are left-handed.
- When I was 16, I was fired from my first job at the restaurant, Checkers. They said that I was too quiet. Lol, what does that have to do with flipping burgers?
- I am a sorority girl. I’m a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
- My favorite show biz person is Queen Latifah. I admire the business moves that she has made in the entertainment industry. She has blazed her own trail.
- My celebrity crush is Omari Hardwick. The man is gorgeous!
- I love writing poetry. I began writing when I was in middle school. I didn’t even realize that it was a talent until my English teacher made such a big deal over poems that I had written for an assignment.
- I just had my first trip on an airplane last month. Yes, I do need to travel more, and I will.
- My favorite color is green.
- Green is also the featured color for Truly Charmed. I chose green because the emerald is my birth stone. Truly Charmed is a rebirth for me. It signifies my decision to pursue my passions, writing and encouraging other women to move past their scars and live their destiny.
